Dr. Lisa Ann Carlsson is a Human and Animal Chiropractor treating horses, dogs and other pets.
She is a fully qualified Doctor of Chiropractic and has postgraduate education in Veterinary Chiropractic with the International Academy of Veterinary Chiropractic.

Chiropractic is the third largest primary health care profession in the world, third to medicine and dentistry. Chiropractors are spine specialties who offer expertise in the diagnosis, treatment and overall management of conditions that are due particularly to the spine but also problems with the joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons and nerves of the body.

Lisa Ann primarily treats musculoskeletal conditions such as back pain, stiffness, lameness, disc problems and other pain management issues. Many people are now realising the effectiveness of combining chiropractic care with mainstream veterinary care as chiropractic treatment can restore the animal’s joint function helping gait abnormalities, performance problems, pain conditions and other conformation problems in the animal.

There are many people out there claiming skills and knowledge about Animal Chiropractic who are unqualified and uninsured. You can only call yourself a chiropractor if you have first qualified as a Doctor of (Human) Chiropractic from an international accredited chiropractic university, this take 6 years of training. Only once you have completed the education as a chiropractor are you able to enrol and qualify as an Animal Chiropractor. This is of importance as it sets standards of care and maintains the highest level of care possible for the animal.

Lisa Ann is registered with the socialstyrelsen, has an international accredited university education and is a member of LKR, the Swedish Chiropractic Association and the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association (IVCA).
